Sainte-Mère-Église / Chef-du-Pont, Land of Sport and Commitment with Mont Blanc®

It is with immense joy and pride that we invite you to join us on 12 and 13 September 2026 for a unique event: the first Mont Blanc® Cyclosportive, organised in Sainte-Mère-Église, Chef-du-Pont and the surrounding area!

This cyclosportive, driven by the energy of the Bel group's employees, the Chef-du-Pont production site that manufactures the famous Mont Blanc® cream, and our institutional and associative partners, is preparing to welcome cycling enthusiasts from the region, all of France and beyond.
With routes suitable for all levels, we will be able to enjoy the magnificent landscapes of Normandy and share a spirit of conviviality between residents, visitors, experienced athletes and amateurs, in a festive and cheerful atmosphere.

A special moment to get together, create memories and share emotions — with family, colleagues and friends — with all those who contribute to the vitality of this magnificent region.

It is also with great pride and enthusiasm that we announce the exceptional presence of Laurent Jalabert, an iconic figure in French cycling, as the official patron of the first edition of the Cyclosportive Mont Blanc®.

We look forward to seeing many of you, whether you are athletes or spectators, to bring this beautiful region to life with the rhythm of your pedals and make this first edition an unforgettable event!

The magic continues... Following on from the La Vache qui rit and Babybel cycle races, CLSO by SMH is proud to continue the wonderful adventure of the Groupe Bel-branded events. It is a privilege to organise such an event for one of the world's most iconic industrial groups.

The popularity and festive spirit of cycling is well established. It embodies the values of conviviality, sharing and collective effort, which resonate perfectly with the image of these family-friendly, universal brands.
But a cyclosportive is much more than a competition. It is a moment of encounter, cohesion and local dynamism. It brings together local stakeholders, connects communities by bicycle and becomes a formidable lever for tourism, culture and the economy.

This time, we are heading to La Manche in Normandy. A region steeped in history, where the echoes of events that have marked the entire world still linger. Here, every road tells a story, every landscape evokes memories, and this cycling event will naturally take on a special dimension: sport as a tribute, cycling as a living memory.

The first editions of La Vache qui rit and Babybel attracted more than 3,000 participants. So how could we not dream of seeing this colourful peloton again, this time dressed in beige and blue, the colours of the Mont Blanc brand? A nod to the identity of the iconic cream born in Normandy, but also a discreet reminder of those soldiers who came to tread the beaches, blending into the sand to better regain their freedom.

Our arrival in La Manche has been accompanied by a particularly warm welcome from the local authorities, promising a great popular celebration. True to our DNA, we will do everything we can to offer an unforgettable experience: gifts, services, entertainment, and always that local touch that makes all the difference.
A huge thank you to the local community and the Bel Group for placing their trust in us for this new stage. The adventure continues, and it promises to be sporting, human and memorable.
